Troubleshooting Global Printers
Was this printer working fine before? Yes or is it a New printer?
Does this existing printer print from a different application such as Microsoft Word? Yes or No?
Is the Redberry Spoolit.exe program running? Yes or No?
Did the printer stop working after an IT person was working on your system? Yes or No?
Most likely the existing printer has been renamed by IT so Spoolit.exe can no longer find it. Spoolit Help
The printer number is the corresponding number as set in the Parameters in the Global Application.
In this case in your printer list you should see the new printer name and then overwrite the old printer name with the new printer name.

Check that the existing printer is switched on, is on line and contains paper. Check the data cable or network cable is plugged in and working ok. If possible run a printer self test from the printer control panel. Windows has an annoying habit of deciding a printer is off line when it is in fact on line. Go to Windows control panel, devices and printers and see if Windows sees it offline. The cure for this is to reboot the PC it is attached to, which will release the print queue.

If this new printer is replacing a printer type, for example switching from pre printed dot matrix NAWBs to plain paper Laser NAWBs, then that printer number in the Global Application needs to be set to L for Laser in the parameters.

This has to be the printer configuration within Redberry has been changed. Check the configuration in both the Redberry spoolit application Spoolit Help and the Redberry Global Application Print Parameters.
